Clarity Matrix — Start-Up / New Venture

Start-Up / Venture.
Clearly evaluated.

Evaluate a startup idea, new venture, or entrepreneurial leap — scored against your real priorities, not just the business case.

Now includes Energy Audit
Step 2 now asks how each area affects your energy — not just how important it is. Understanding what charges vs. drains you is the layer most decision tools miss.

How this tool works — this is not AI
This is not AI giving you answers

This tool does not use artificial intelligence to evaluate your decision or tell you what to choose. There is no algorithm deciding what matters to you. No model is analyzing your situation or generating a recommendation.

What you get instead is something more reliable: your own thinking, organized and weighted by you, then calculated into a score that reflects exactly what you told it.

What the tool actually does — four steps
1
Prioritize
You decide how much each area counts — Very Important (4×) down to Not Important (1×). The tool uses your weights, not its own.
2
Reflect ⚡
You answer two prompts per area with real examples. Optionally, you also rate how each area affects your energy — what charges vs. drains you.
3
Score
You rate each area 1–5 based on how well the option supports it. The tool multiplies your score by your weight to produce a weighted score per area.
4
Results
Your weighted scores are added up and compared to the maximum possible total. The percentage and verdict come entirely from your inputs — not any outside judgment.
How the score is calculated
Your score (1–5) × Your weight (1–4) = Weighted score per area
Sum of all weighted scores ÷ Maximum possible total = Your final result
Areas you marked Very Important carry 4× the weight of areas marked Not Important. The result reflects your priorities — not a generic template.
What the score is — and isn't

The score is a structured summary of your own assessment. It surfaces patterns, flags gaps in areas you said matter most, and gives you something concrete to compare options against each other.

It is not a verdict from an outside authority. A low score does not mean you should not pursue something — it means that area is underserved according to your own ratings, and that is worth knowing before you decide.
